Providing arts excellence in a free learning environment, SavviCAPAS prepares each student to achieve their arts goals. Here at SavviCAPAS, we believe that everyone can benefit from the arts. Whether it is to realize a dream that you've always had or to allow a child the creative development that he/she needs to become a well rounded individual, SavviCAPAS is the perfect place to build the foundation. Our mission is a allow each student the opportunity to nurture their creative talents and aspirations.
Throughout the years performing arts has been a great influence on the young and older mind alike. Music and acting has proven to be a major benefit in many ways. Arts activities boost brainpower and has been attributed to helping students with learning disabilities and behavioral issues. Several studies have shown that the arts, as a part of the education curriculum, can increase success in school, I.Q. and cognitive skills such as reasoning and memory. The arts also promotes healthy brain development, makes better math and science students, enhances spatial intelligence, and students score higher in verbal and math sections of the SAT than students who are not exposed to the arts. For adults, the arts help to boost cognition skills, memorization and brain power. It helps to counteract Alzheimer and it promotes confidence and assurance in every area of the adult life while teaching discipline. The arts help to develop a creative environment for adults which open up other areas for their creative juices to flow. The arts help to release endorphins in individuals which help to counteract bad emotions and pain symptoms.
SavviCAPAS values each student individually so that each student is designed a course that outlines their specific needs. Individual creativity is integral to the production of art; therefore, our faculty and staff work with students on an individualized level that stimulates intellectual, artistic, and technical originality. We strive to allow each student to be able to work creatively whether independent or in a group setting.

What we offer
Classes
Voice
This class is designed to fit the students needs whatever they may be. We will focus on breathing as the foundation and learn the vocal fundamentals. A course of instruction will then be designed specifically to the student's needs to achieve their vocal goals. During this time the student will train and come to understand the term "vocal athlete". and will understand what it means to sing with the entire body. We will work at an intense level to achieve vocal endurance and maintenance, in-studio and stage vocal production, vocal technique and stylizing, and voice damage prevention. We will explore the different styles and colors of singing and how the voice works.

Piano
This course is designed to help the student master the piano. The class includes theory, learning to read music, learning to play by ear, piano technique and performance. Students will learn pieces from a variety of musical eras that will show their musical talents. Careful attention is placed on each piano student to ensure a custom lesson plan. SavviCAPAS understands that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the piano lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind. Each student will have the opportunity to perform in our recitals that are held twice a year no matter what level the student is on. All aspects of music will be taught including reading, rhythm, and piano repertoire so that the student becomes a complete musician. Wherever the student's musical interests lie, SavviCAPAS can help the student realize his or her greatest musical ambitions!
Acting
Whether you are a beginner learning the basics, an aspiring actor improving your skills, or a professional working actor looking to stay sharp, SavviCAPAS has courses for all levels. Students will discover the inner "character" in them in this course. We provide a complete program training for TV, film, commercials and theater. The student will cover aspects of acting for the camera from auditions to the realities of performing on the set. We will use improvisation as a tool to prepare you for any situation. You'll receive in-depth instruction, honest critique, and constructive suggestions as you enhance your abilities and build your confidence.

Artist Development/ On-site Coaching
At SavviCAPAS we take an artist and find their inner strengths and weaknesses and making sure they are the best they can be. We develop their uniquess as an artist and help them to become the best they can be. the student will learn the correlation between acting and singing or acting and piano and how the two together affect their performance. Artist development develops the total performer and makes them a well rounded artist!
Being in the studio is hard work, but having a coach at your side can make it a lot easier.
